Erfurt – Eisenach : Modernisation of tracks and infrastructure

Work is being carried out on tracks and points on the section between Erfurt and Eisenach. The line is therefore only passable on a single-track on some sections and must be completely closed in places.

The effects at a glance

  • The long distance trains will continue to run between Erfurt – Eisenach.
  • The Berlin – Frankfurt Sprinter trains via Erfurt are cancelled.
  • Trains between Gera and Eisenach will be temporarily cancelled.
