The BahnCard 25 gives you a BahnCard discount of 25 per cent on flexible, saver and super saver fares within Germany in the corresponding coach class. The chargeable City-Ticket for the saver fare and super saver fare is not discounted.

You can use the ICE and IC/EC trains, ÖBB Nightjet (reservation may be required) and local transport (IRE, RE, RB, S-Bahn).

Many transport associations, bus operators and private rail operators also grant BahnCard 25 discounts.

The BahnCard is available to all travellers between the ages of 27 and 64. When you order your BahnCard, your date of birth is used to check whether you comply with this.

• EUR 62.90 for second class
• EUR 125 for first class

The BahnCard is valid for 12 months. The BahnCard 25 is valid for 1 year from the 1st day of validity. It is automatically extended for a further year unless it is cancelled in text form 4 weeks before the end of the term.

You can cancel your BahnCard 25 up to six weeks before the end of the validity period.

If not, it will be continued as a regular BahnCard or a discounted one, such as a BahnCard for senior citizens or a My BahnCard for young people, in first or second class, as appropriate.
