Located in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Bonn is the former capital of West Germany and still the second official seat of the German government. The Bundesviertel, or federal quarter, houses many of the government buildings as well as the Post Tower, which is the Deutsche Post/DHL headquarters and the tallest building in North Rhine-Westphalia. Many other large businesses have their headquarters here, such as T-Mobile and Deutsche Telekom. This is also the city of Ludwig van Beethoven. The famous composer was born here in 1770, and his birthplace, Beethoven House, is now a museum. Furthermore, Bonn is home to the University of Bonn so it's no wonder then that Bonn is a thriving, internationally oriented city with lots to offer.
