How to register for bahn.business

 

  1. Register your company for bahn.business
    Create a company account and specify your preferred payment methods and means of payment.
  2. Invite employees and register them for a business customer account
    Invite each employee to have his or her business customer account created. Assign roles to the employees.
  3. Book tickets and offers
    Log in and book under the business customer account on bahn.de or in DB Navigator.

Frequently asked questions

We want to reward your company for travelling frequently by rail. Companies that spend EUR 3,000 or more on DB products and services (tickets, seat reservations, BahnCard purchases) receive a business customer discount of 3% on flexible business fare tickets.

This discount can be combined with that of a BahnCard Business.

All bookings that you or your travellers make with a bahn.business login are recorded and billed using the stored payment method. This means that no one has to pay in advance and be refunded.

The bahn.business programme for business customers enables CO₂-free travel with 100% renewable energy on DB's local and long-distance rail services within Germany.

This avoids direct carbon emissions. bahn.business offsets all indirect emissions, such as for the transfer of energy, via atmosfair after calculating the passenger kilometres travelled. Any emissions generated on non-electrified DB routes are also offset through bahn.business.

Customers who successfully register between 1 January and 30 June 2026 will receive a 10% welcome discount on saver business fares and flexible business fares. The welcome discount can be combined with the BahnCard Business discount.

The welcome discount will end automatically as soon as your company has spent a total of EUR 3,000 on saver business fares and flexible business fares within the promotional period, or, if this is not the case, on 30 June 2026.
