Frequently asked questions

We want to reward your company for travelling frequently by rail. Companies that spend EUR 3,000 or more on DB products and services (tickets, seat reservations, BahnCard purchases) receive a business customer discount of 3% on flexible business fare tickets.

This discount can be combined with that of a BahnCard Business.

You can assign different roles and rights to employees for booking and managing business trips with bahn.business. You can also manage payment methods centrally, consolidate booking units and get comprehensive reports on all ticket expenditure.

If you have any questions or would like advice, simply contact the Business Service team. This advice service offers all-round expertise on all business topics and is available exclusively to bahn.business customers.

All bookings that you or your travellers make with a bahn.business login are recorded and billed using the stored payment method. This means that no one has to pay in advance and be refunded.

The bahn.business programme for business customers enables CO₂-free travel with 100% renewable energy on DB's local and long-distance rail services within Germany.

This avoids direct carbon emissions. bahn.business offsets all indirect emissions, such as for the transfer of energy, via atmosfair after calculating the passenger kilometres travelled. Any emissions generated on non-electrified DB routes are also offset through bahn.business.
