Protect the climate

BahnBusiness customers travel using 100% renewable electricity on electrically powered DB long-distance and regional trains within Germany, thereby avoiding direct emissions. Indirect emissions, as well as the remaining diesel-related emissions generated in regional transport services, are offset through Gold Standard-certified climate protection projects. The example compares the CO₂e values for BahnBusiness travelers on the Berlin–Munich route.

Discounts

Business customer discount 2027

For the calendar year 2027, companies will receive an additional corporate customer discount on Flexpreis Business tickets. The prerequisite is a corresponding BahnBusiness sales volume (DB tickets, BahnCard Business, BahnCard 100, and reservations) achieved during the collection period from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026. The amount of the discount depends on the sales volume achieved.
