Special Terms of Use for DB Navigator

General

In addition to the "Terms of Use for DB Fernverkehr AG Websites and Apps" and the "Special Terms of Use for Bookings on Websites/in Apps", the following special terms of use apply to DB Navigator:

Bookings in DB Navigator

Some offers from DB Fernverkehr AG or third parties can only be booked via the DB Navigator app if the user has a DB customer account. If a product can only be booked with a DB customer account, this will be indicated during the order process. Any products purchased using the DB customer account will be stored there.

Reporting offers

You may report any legal concerns regarding an offer to us here: Reporting offers

Users may appeal decisions regarding such reports to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body. If a decision infringes on users' rights, for instance where users are exercising their own rights, the users may assert their rights before the competent court and, if appropriate, a competent out-of-court body. 

DB Fernverkehr AG is entitled to suspend processing of reports from users regarding allegedly unlawful content for a reasonable period of time or on a permanent basis if the user has frequently submitted clearly unfounded reports in the past. DB Fernverkehr AG is entitled to suspend processing of complaints for a reasonable period of time or on a permanent basis if the user has frequently submitted clearly unfounded complaints in the past. DB Fernverkehr AG shall issue a warning prior to such a suspension, provided this does not conflict with the suspension's purpose. 

In the event of disputes, DB Fernverkehr AG is prepared to cooperate with certified out-of-court dispute settlement bodies within the meaning of Art. 21 (3) of the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065).

Presentation of service offerings

The presentation of mobility services from various providers in DB Navigator is algorithm-based and depends on parameters relating to the situation and individual concerned, including but not limited to the user's starting point/location and destination, the length and duration of the journey/route searched for by the user, the availability of mobility services in the vicinity of the route searched for by the user and the user's individual settings. The algorithm used selects the available mobility offerings with the aim of maximum usefulness to the user.
