Terms of use for the bahn.business business customer account

When you register your company for the bahn.business business customer programme, you can use the int.bahn.de version of our new bahn.business portal with the latest technical and security standards. You agree to the the terms of use described here.

1. General terms and conditions and privacy statement

By registering, you accept the privacy statement as well as the conditions of carriage for passenger transport (Beförderungsbedingungen Personenverkehr in German), in particular section G "Conditions for the purchase and use of bahn.business offers (bahn.business)".

2. Functions of the bahn.business portal

DB Fernverkehr AG provides customers of the bahn.business business customer programme with the int.bahn.de version of the bahn.business portal. Users can purchase tickets and manage their company via a user interface.

The int.bahn.de version of bahn.business lets business customers benefit from the latest technical and security standards, as well as the following:

  • A new roles system
  • Exclusive support processes
  • Intuitive usability and contemporary design
  • Additional offers

3. Privacy and data processing

The privacy statement for the business customer account applies for the use of the int.bahn.de version of the bahn.business portal.

4. Registered passengers: migration of current bookings when the employee leaves to a (possibly additional) private customer account

The int.bahn.de version of the bahn.business portal includes a function that transfers bookings made by or for employee profiles (in particular tickets, reservations and BahnCard Business) to a new private customer account of the employee if the employee leaves the bahn.business portal (e.g. if they leave the company). This requires the relevant bookings to remain valid beyond the employee's departure. In this case, a new private customer account is automatically created when the employee leaves. The terms of use for the private customer account apply here. If the employee who has left already has a private customer account, it will remain unaffected.

The access data (login data) of the departed user will be retained and can be used to log in to the private customer account.

In this case, please advise your departing employees to update their contact and registration information if necessary (e.g. work e-mail address).

Special notice for bahn.business customers who were already registered before the introduction of the int.bahn version of our new bahn.business portal:

Before migrating your company data to the int.bahn.de version of our new bahn.business portal, please inform your employees in good time about the function for transferring their business bookings to a private customer account detailed in section 4, and the contractual relationship that this may create.
