Payment methods for your business trip

These are the payment methods that you can use as a business customer.

You can save the preferred means of payment for booking units and employees for when they book their next business trips.

Personal or corporate credit card

Billing through private or company account via personal credit card statement
Details are stored in the customer account, allowing you to use a specific card automatically or select the one you wish to use when booking
Number of daily bookings may be limited (depending on credit range)
Additional verification number check and 3-D Secure process possible

PayPal

Users can pay with their private PayPal account as business travellers
Select each time you book, i.e. PayPal cannot be saved as the default payment method for businesses
Refunds paid to the PayPal account in the event of cancellation

giropay

Pay online straight from your bank account
A service of Germany's banks
Payment with user name and password or by online transfer using online banking access data

giropay will discontinue its service this year

From 1 October 2024, giropay will therefore no longer be available as a payment method. Tickets that you pay for with giropay by 30 September 2024 can still be cancelled as usual on bahn.de and in DB Navigator.

Central corporate credit card/travel department card

Billing through the company account via collective settlement, depending on card type (incl. additional data like project number, cost centre, order number)
Data stored centrally in the portal for companies and used automatically when booking
Unlimited number of daily bookings
