The 44-hour ticket for young people is an offer for anyone aged 26 and younger who wishes to travel. Eligibility is based on the passenger's age on the first day of travel. The passenger's age will be checked on the train during ticket inspection.

The 44-hour ticket for young people can be booked for any of the weekends in July:

  • 4 to 6 July 2025
  • 11 to 13 July 2025
  • 18 to 20 July 2025
  • 25 to 27 July 2025

The ticket holder can travel from 6 pm on Friday to 2 pm on Sunday. The ticket can be used for any number of long-distance journeys within Germany while it is valid. It is not necessary for the passenger to reserve seats on the trains. The journey must be completed by 2 pm on the Sunday.
