The offer is available for the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, France, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland.

For all other destinations in Europe, you can purchase the group discount ticket Europe. This is available from local DB sales points or agencies, or by telephone on +49 30 2970 (costs depend on the provider).

You may only travel on the long-distance trains (ICE, IC/EC) and the days indicated on the ticket.

If you are travelling on regional or local trains (RE, RB, IRE, S-Bahn), you are not restricted to specific services or times. For groups of 21 persons or more, however, registration is required at mein-sitzplatz-regio.de.

The following regulations generally apply:

• Children up to 5 years of age always travel free of charge on the German section of the route.They do not need their own ticket or free seat reservation.
• Children aged 6 to 14 pay half the adult group fare on the German section of the route with DB.

Free travel for children:

• •Children up to 5 years of age always travel free of charge in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Hungary, Luxembourg (first class), Poland, Slovakia and Switzerland. They do not need their own ticket or free seat reservation.
• This regulation applies in France, Italy, the Netherlands and Slovenia for children up to 3 years of age and in Sweden up to 6 years of age.
• In Luxembourg, all children travel free of charge in second class.

50% discount on the adult fare:

• In Luxembourg (first class) for children aged 6 to 11. All children in Luxembourg travel free of charge in second class
• In Denmark and Slovakia for children aged 6 to 15
• In France, Italy, the Netherlands and Slovenia for children aged 4 to 11
• In Austria, Hungary and Poland for children aged 6 to 14
• In Sweden for children aged 7 to 19
• In Czechia for children aged 6 to 17
• In Switzerland and Slovakia for children aged 6 to 15
• In Croatia for children aged 6 to 11
• In Belgium, children aged 6 to 11 receive a 40% discount

Some countries have a minimum age for children travelling alone. Please inform yourself about the respective regulations before booking.

It is not possible to change, rebook or cancel the group super saver fare Europe.

Instant cancellation

You can cancel your digital ticket free of charge within a period of 3 hours (180 minutes) after purchase, regardless of the specific offer's terms and conditions. Payment will be refunded in full.

You can change the name of the main passenger on an ICE or IC/EC group ticket. To do this, you need to purchase a "Umpersonalisierung" (reassign) document for 15 euros per direction. If the main passenger is unable to take part in either the outbound or return journey of the group trip, a separate reassign must be purchased for each direction (outbound and return journey).

Important: In the event of a name change, the purchase must not be made via the customer account originally used, as otherwise the previous name will appear on the ticket again. Instead, the purchase should be made via the account of the new main passenger or anonymously.

When traveling, the "Umpersonalisierung" (reassign) document must then be presented on the train together with the ICE or IC/EC group ticket.

This offer does not apply to local transport group tickets.

Note: The reassign is valid for 1st and 2nd class tickets, even if it is issued for 2nd class.
