- Children up to the age of 5 always travel free of charge. Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied when travelling in Switzerland.
- Children aged 6-14 pay half the adult fare on the German section of the route.
- Children aged 6-15 pay half the adult fare on the Swiss section of the route.
