What is the trial BahnCard 25/50 Gold?

The trial BahnCard 25/50 Gold is a Deutsche Bahn discount card just like the regular trial BahnCard 25/50. It is valid for three months, after which it automatically continues as a regular subscription.

The trial BahnCard 25 Gold entitles the holder to a BahnCard discount of 25 % on super saver and saver fares, as well as 25 % on flexible fares, within Germany in the corresponding travel class.

The trial BahnCard 50 Gold entitles the holder to a BahnCard discount of 25 % on super saver and saver fares, as well as 50 % on flexible fares, within Germany in the corresponding travel class.

On top of this, holders of a trial BahnCard Gold can travel throughout Germany free of charge on the day following a gold medal for the German team at the Winter Games in Milano Cortina (6 to 22 February 2026).
