What is the free seat reservation allotment for a BahnCard 100, 2nd class, and how can I redeem it?

During the validity of your BahnCard, you are entitled to:

• 20 free seat reservations with a BahnCard 100, 2nd class
• 5 free seat reservations with a trial BahnCard 100, 2nd class

Please note:

• You can use the allotment for seat reservations or for taking a bicycle with you without purchasing a ticket.
• The allotment is valid for all trains of Deutsche Bahn AG that do not require mandatory reservations.
• Unused allotments expire at the end of the BahnCard’s validity or upon cancellation of the BahnCard. Please book your seats directly while logged in to your DB customer account.
