How long is my ticket valid?

The ticket is valid from 09:00 until 03:00 on the following day. On weekends, public holidays and on 24 and 31 December you can use the ticked the whole day starting from midnight.

Please note that some tickets have other periods of validity:

• Information on regional day ticket for Baden-Württemberg
  Valid from 00:00 until 03:00 on the following day, all day on weekends, public holidays and on 24 and 31 December.
• Information on regional day ticket for Bavaria
  Valid from 09:00 to 03:00 on the following day, all day on weekends, Bavaria-wide public holidays and on 15 August and 24 and 31 December.
• Information on regional day tickets for Hessen and North Rhine-Westphalia
  Valid 24 hours
• Information on regional day tickets for Rhineland Palatinate and Saarland
  Valid from 09:00 until 03:00 on the following day, all day on weekends, public holidays and Shrove Monday, 15 August and 24 and 31 December.
• Information on regional day tickets for Lower Saxony plus Groningen
  If travel outside Lower Saxony is on a day that is not a public holiday there, the ticket is not valid until 9 am.
